Wind Controller Schematics

Below are links to several pages describing representative wind controller circuitry. The first two items illustrate single op-amp circuits that can be used with a mouthpiece and keyswitch assembly realize a one-chip wind controller. The remaining items are specifically related to The Stealth.

Basic Circuits:

Keyworks Circuit Principles: A general schematic illustration of how to derive a standard 1oct / V control voltage from a set of keyswitches.

EZ Mouthpiece Electronics: A simple experimental mouthpiece circuit illustrating optical position detection.

The Stealth:

Keyworks System: The arrangement and interval assignments of the keys.

Fingering Charts:
Including some discussion of register extensions and alternate fingerings.

Circuit for the Octave Keys: A schematic diagram of the electronics connected with the left-hand thumb keys, and a brief description of the circuitry for the rest of the keys.

The Mouthpiece Circuit: A schematic diagram of the servo-stabilized mouthpiece electronics.
